I've been having various cold-type symptoms all day, including a brain fogginess that makes it difficult to concentrate. If I feel the same tomorrow I won't risk an hour long drive on busy roads, snow or no snow. If I feel well enough I will go to work.

Yes of course. It's only a bit of snow. In winter. Why is everyone so surprised that it's cold in January. For goodness sake why can't people just get on with things?

I hope so. It's a 100 mile round trip through the countryside but hopefully the roads will be well-gritted. I doubt it'll be too deep.

If I don't go in then I don't get paid. The joys of being a freelance Graphic Designer. I rarely miss work, even when it was a 6 hour round trip the last time we had really bad snow, I got in. Usually it's just a 50 minute train journey. Hope it's not too bad otherwise I won't get to see my other half this weekend

Probably, although I need internet access for the work I do. Not sure of the relevance? As far as I'm aware the weather does not affect the internet.
