Also The Hurt Locker hits Channel 4 on Saturday 15th October at 9pm.
Gosh, I remember how exciting it used to be to see BBC1 and ITV's 'new season' trailers in which they would show what films were going to premiered on Saturday/Sunday nights, usually during the Autumn and Spring months. Makes me feel really old!
The excitement was great when you were 12 or 13 ditto the Christmas selection box of cinematic goodies. Now its hard to give a damn, but then I am in my *cough* and loose change!

Further proving my year-long theory that I can predict the future:D
But seriously, this is about the 11th time in the past year I've correctly predicted something in the near future. I'm glad the movie is on anyway, I might watch it again. I haven't seen it since I saw it at the cinema. EDIT: No, wait, I can't, I'm on holiday then:D
where did you get this good useful information from?
Yep their all more or less crap - ITV had confirmed to me they havent brought the rights for The Dark Knight -- surely that should have been on TV by now
I would say that the only time movies are of importance for the BBC IS only at Easter and Christmas/New Year.
The rest of the year they would just float away or more annoying for some people take over the time alloted to their normal shows.
The BBC uses sport and major events like Glastonbury, I wouldn't say they've used movies ewffectively (Outside of Easter and Christmas) for quite some time.
Iknow I'd certainly not be looking for movies there, even if there were on.
Friday The 13th will be a problem to record without wasting an entire blank disc, any ideas what time it will start if I don't change the time on my recorder?

Perhaps they're saving The Hurt Locker for Christmas?;)
Yes very festive!!!
You never know, as it's CH4 we might get the uncut version with the icicle.
Well it's a "big" movie, the kind that usually premiers at Christmas.

I can confirm that we do not have a film with the title The Dark Knight in our database.
I did ask about any upcoming premières, but they ignored that bit.
Maybe the BBC will swoop in and take it. I doubt it but I would prefer it, The Dark Knight is a film best viewed without advert breaks.
