If the year was 1990, what thread would you start on DS?

We've had a thread for 1980, and 1890 :D, now let's have one for 1990.

Here's a few to get the ball rolling.

Has console gaming reached it's peak with the new Sega Mega Drive?

Is Doctor Who coming back?

Will we be able to watch films on CDs one day?

Is it worth getting Windows 3.0?

So Thatcher's gone. Surely Heseltine's going to win the leadership contest. Hurd's not got much charisma or populist appeal, and as for that unknown with the grey hair, glasses and croaking drawl of a nerd's voice, he's not even in the running in any credible sense....

Well it's 1990, and Ben Elton's flying high. Filling in for Wogan for the week, another successful series of Blackadder under his belt-and now he's got his own BBC series, Man From Auntie. He's really gaining credibility now, and I predict that, in twenty-five years, he will still be one of the most admired, revered and credible personalities in comedy.

I was screaming on a bus earlier and all the stuck up passengers where tutting do they not remember what it was like to be a baby....

I was in primary school, had to actually have a proper think about what I actually got up to.

You did enough to make me go search youtube for a cartoon I used to watch.. presumably I'm not the only child of the 80's so I thought I'd share it :)
