Xmas Village Markets - Here or abroad?

Thinking of having a post Xmas break on 27th Dec for a few days with the missus at one of those Xmas Village Markets, however I've never been to one and hear markets in Cologne or Berlin are better than what we have in the UK

So I'm asking for advice on any markets that others would recommend and are open after Xmas period I'm planning on leaving on.

    You could try http://www.christmasmarkets.com/ as a source of info about opening dates, though it is mainly a holiday booking site. Many of the markets end before Christmas but from that site there are some still open afterwards. Maybe someone can advise whether they are still worth visiting after Christmas.
