She must have been attending the Tess Daly School Of Elocution where they teach you to speak in a fake southern accent with the odd word pronounced in a strong northern accent (eg "Coople", "Joodges" and "Strictly Coom Dancing")
I just saw an advert for M&S which I think had Suzanne Shaw doing the voiceover, the accent was so stupid I googled it and this thread came up
She obviously hasn't got much better at being posh!

I'm originally from Manchester, spent 12 years in London and now working for the British Embassy in Korea.
My accent is all over the place...
Yep, mine is too. Originally from the North West, lived in the Midlands for five years now nine years bewteen Essex and Suggilk. Here, I'm still the token Northerner - up there, everyone thinks I sound like a Cockney
I used to criticise people like CZJ and Kym Marsh for their blatent accent changing but now I know it can happen despite the best will in the world!

To be fair though, Kym Marsh was speaking in a home counties accent about 20 minutes after moving down South so I'm not sure that was a genuine change

You must be the only person who does.
They will occasionally revert back to their natural accent when talking about how proud they are of their roots, etc.
Do you have anything nice to say about anyone? Thought not.
I quite like her too.
Sadly not.

Sorry, i was t-bagging her at the time
Alan Titchmarsh has done the same, to hilarious effect.
Anna Friel does the voiceover for M&S.

Oh I stand corrected! I haven't heard her talk for years, never noticed them sounding similar before though ha.
She was from Rochdale/Bury, once upon a time.
BTW, people CAN lose their accents - it took me 15 years and not 15 weeks, though.
I hear her mother and children can't stand her either
