I couldn't watch that part of it. I could feel the pain even if the people having hooks stuck in them couldn't :eek:
As for Jason who found happiness in what he looked like, I think he needs therapy as he's got some kind of body image disorder. He didn't look real, in fact he looked almost like a Thunderbirds puppet. Freaky.
Considering what he was doing when anyone first heard of him to what he's doing now, Karl's almost the ultimate 'boy done good'. I wonder if he ever reflects on how different his life would have been if Ricky Gervais wasn't so lazy and/ or egotistical to push a few buttons on a sound-desk?

To be fair (and rational), most radio shows have Producers.
He was an English teacher, who to earn extra money opened a small saloon, eavesdropped on gangsters and joined them, hijacking cars, robbing businesses and dreaming up ways to trick people out of their money.
“My heart was not into armed robberies,” he said. “My heart was more into fraud because I’m a thinker.”
But he was caught and convicted in 1997 of helping run a Ponzi scheme. His case alone listed more than 1,900 victims, He served six years in prison. After his release, he went into business with Gayton McKenzie, a bank robber he had befriended behind bars. They sold a book that Mr. McKenzie wrote about quitting a life of crime, and marketed Mr. McKenzie’s motivational speeches to schools and corporate groups.
With the profits from the book they invested their earnings in a fish distribution business and then started working as consultants to diamond and gold mining companies

Not in this case, which is why I find Karl's story fairly incredible. Gervais originally produced his own radio show (or at least ran the desk, not sure how much actual 'production' was involved). It was only during his second regular stint on XFM, after he'd been on TV a bit (The Office may possibly had started by now), that he asked for/ was given a producer, which turned out to be Karl.
When he was going on about being careful with money and not being able to afford to go on holiday - that's not really true is it Karl?! He can't be short of a bob or two from the podcasts, books, TV shows, royalties etc. Then again with all the travelling he's had to do for this and the Idiot Abroad shows he's probably more than happy to just stay at home!

Genius:D
"Why have you bought me here?"
"This planet is rubbish"
"Call that a sonic screwdriver?"
That is quite possibly the best idea I have heard in a while

I've really enjoyed this series, I hope there are more to come because Karl has become one of my favourite people on TV
Is that the end of the series?
There should be one more.
knowing karl's luck it probably died 10 minutes after he let it go
That was my favourite episode so far.
Too many classic lines to mention.
Just give him the life of luxury and see him melt down in anger
and how can you go wrong with a cross eyed cat!
:D:D
He probably doesn't earn as much as you think.
