they'll steal anything not nailed down

Last week I was in Starbuck's B'ham New Street and while I was talking with my friend I kind of felt my jacket moving/pulling slightly . I kind oflooked over my other shoulder as I was scared my coat was being stolen and it's quite a good one. Anyway when we got up to go it transpired that somone had stolen my walking stick. It was a nice one with flowers on...a collapsible one.
I can't quite believe that someone could stoop so low. I'm still baffled as to why they would do it..

    Never mind, you'll be up on your feet in no time.

    Seriously though, I don't put it past thieving toerags to nick such things. I once saw a woman chasing a guy through a shopping centre and screaming. The sod had nicked all her shopping from Morrisons when she had stopped for a coffee. He got arrested though.

    :D Well it was the most exciting thing that's happened to me for a while so there was that silver lining ...and I bought a new stick so it's not all bad . I only mentioned it because I rarely have anything happen and it was post worthy.for me.
