:D But to be fair, the membership fees are less than £15 per month, so you'd probably expect a tiny crap gym for that money. The grand entrance is probably actually a bonus!

I wonder where they got that figure from? I know things are cheaper up North but gym memberships here start at around £35 per month.

I'm planning to set up a gym like Kal's.
It'll be £11-99 a month to join which I think is an absolute steal.

I've no premises or equipment like, but my 'gym' is going to be the local field, where my patrons can choose between doing sit-ups or push-ups - or in Gail's case, following Nick around.

Like Kal, I've got two oil drums and I've arranged for a seedy old bloke to come along and ogle everybody whilst he worries about my love life.
So I'm thinking all in all, it's a sure-fire winner.

I'm also going to be providing my old boxing gloves, in case I take a fancy to somebody's missus and want to push them too hard.

This time next year I envisage having a whole chain of fields ... ahem ... I mean gyms.

    Where do I join...

Sounds like proper good Gym to me... the ones oop ere are crap and full of fat sweaty birds...

I mean... only yesterday I was sat at some traffic lights outside Bannatynes in town and this massive fat bird came shuffling out... all sweaty and panting...
Oh... I thought she must have been having a good work out... until I saw the sign behind her which read... Bannatynes Breakfast Deals...

A crap gym when the so called "personal trainer" owner of the place needs an inhaler after walking through Leanne's front door.

The Gym should be where Tina meets her fate. An out of control treadmill squishes her to death. But who left it running I wonder???

Why does FatKal go out jogging when he's got his own personal gym? He could do laps of the inside of it. Current record is 438 laps in 2 minutes.

Just catching up on yesterday's Corrie. How ridiculous is that gym?!! How many gyms do you know where you walk in off the street and the machines and workout area are right opposite reception for all to see?!
Bring back Acorn Antiques' Gym and Leisure Centre!!

Yes!!!! This is exactly how me and my flatmate refer to it. When Acorn Antiques added a leisure centre, and everyone was suddenly walking round in head bands and leotards. :D the best bit was suddenly seeing Gail in there! I want Norris to turn up in full on Mrs Overall gym wear!!! :D

It took so little time to make it into a gym too.
The way they talk it is a massive place....... wouldn't be surprised if there is mention of a pool there too!
