A Thailand's song that I heard recently http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JyP639XTa0Y
The song is about a drunkaholic in Thai's language. I But in my language it sounds like it's talking about anal sex Really hilarious for us
But I wonder how it sounds for u guys in English
In Spanish I like the early Chambao stuff like Ahi Estas Tu and Dibujo en el Aire. French-wise I listen to Julien Doré, and of course Sébastien Tellier
Although thinking about it I also have a copy of "Oro" by ABBA on CD which contains all their Spanish-language hits. Some of them work really well, such as Al Andar, which is much much better than the English equivalent Move On.
Oh, and some of Andrea Bocelli's non-operatic stuff (Spanish and Italian).
Don't really listen to many foreign language songs, although I do like Edith Piaf's music. I only have songs sung in French but are mostly different versions of the original English versions, or have parts of the song sung in French, such as some of Blondie's songs.
Some songs I like are:
Taste You (French Version) - Melissa Auf der Maur
Le Palais Secret - Ellen Foley
Milord - Edith Piaf
La Foule - Edith Piaf
Hier Kommt Alex - Die Toten Hosen (German I know, but I don't have this song )
Sorry to bring cheese into the mix but I loved this: O-zone -Dragostea din tei! Just reminds me of hols! Romanian I think? Dreadful video too! ETA - sorry - just spotted that this has already been mentioned and they are Moldovan?
On a serious note, I do love 'La Mer' by Charles Trenet.
Great thread, and I couldn't resist adding my personal favourite, heard on holiday a few years ago, no idea what language it is sung in, but so addictive I actually sing along with my own similar words quite happily.
Played any time I want to feel happy and it always cheers me up.
I love Spanish singer Chenoa. Check out her songs Todo Irá Bien (Everything Will End Up Good) and En Tu Cruz Me Clavaste (You're Put Me On Your Cross) - I give you links below

I'm also a fan of Enrique in Spanish, Dónde Están Corazón? is one of my favourites!
Other Spanish songs I quite like are Quiero Ser by Amaia Montero and Carlos Baute and Marta Sánchez' Colgando en tus manos.
I quite like a few French songs as well, Le Chemin by Kyo, D'Allemagne by Patricia Kaas, and a few MC Solaar: Da Vinci Claude and Clic Clic.
