Good news, nice to have another middle aged character and I really like her friendship with Liz. Plus Claire King is a decent actress.
That said, I also don't get how Erica could become pregnant at 50 after a one night stand. It is almost borderline impossible to get pregnant at 50 without years of trying.
I am surprised. I thought most people weren't keen on the character? Still, I suppose if she buys Tony's share of the bar and runs it with Liz, and if her mother is a Blanche/ Sylvia type it might work well.
I don't have anything against the character, save the pregnancy, but if she is to be there on a permanent contract they need to give her some good stories.

She has to be involved in the Rovers somehow. I would like that, she seems just right for it. Imagine her and Norris in conversation, she would make mincemeat of him.
She may be playing a younger character but she looks every day of her 52 years. Surely they could have found another actress who would have made the baby story line a bit more believable

So true. She was brilliant in Emmerdale as a queen biatch but then she had good writers and an excellent s/l. Corrie will just ruin her as usual.
