SO much better than the current imaging. Terrible production, it's all indistinct, badly arranged.

And don't get me started on the voice over guy again. Oh, too late.

He can't even say ELL-BC ! We hear a slovenly Ew-BC sound. And when he's trying to sound dramatic, it sounds stupid. " A-thius is Ew-BC"!

And, forgive me, but I thought the Morning News was presented by Lisa Aziz?

Not someone called Liser Raziz, as the voice over says.

    So terrible.
on the current package the breakfast show and late night jingles are good. On the one posted I like all of them.

Because, unlike the issue he talks about, Ferrari doesn't take himself (too) seriously. James has become too po-faced of late because he takes himself way too seriously, believing himself to be an intellectual heavyweight/colossus, so much so that when he does attempt to be self-deprecating it sounds all rather insincere to my ears.

James is a highly intelligent, analytical and perceptive presenter (probably the best of all the LBC presenters in this regard) but these days he either overestimates the depths of his gift or is rather prideful of it that it goes much into his own ego and/or up his own fundament.:(

    Mrs O'Brien (Senior), I presume. ;-)

Had a look on the TV forum for O'Brien it seems most people think he is good on the radio but not on TV. So just shows you that more people than you think like JOB on DS. I wonder why they don't post in here?

Perhaps they just got bored with all the anti- James vitriol posted on this forum and moved on.

I doubt if there would be very much anti-James vitriol on here if it were not for the fact that the man himself is vitriolic.

On the other hand i am glad Ian Collins has a proper 3 hour show that allows him to cover a number of subjects with no news panel, tech news ect ect.

On this show he can do the show he has always been best known for IE taking on callers like he is tonight.

Welcome back Ian to a decent slot.:)

http://www.iqbeats.com/ have the ENTIRE library of beds and jingles of the previous package. The current offering was produced in the Czech Republic but doesn't seem to have a home. Chris Golds is on Twitter @chrisgolds . Seems like a nice boy.

    Thanks

    Really?

"I knew that yob who insulted Christine H was just a wannabe. It is impossible to have this sort of programme these days without booking the brain dead, faked tanned, just want to be famous brigade. This is a rip off of Kilroy, but it is an inferior version. You are not going to get reasoned debate with the unitelligent rentagob.

O'Brien is a conceited and arrogant twerp on radio as well as on this - and his face is only fit for radio too. He had no control over the audience, everyone was having their own "conversations", if you can call it that. A shouty mess. Come back the Loose 'Uns.

Hmmm, Ian Collins is a bit shouty and confrontational this evening. Why are some presenters so aggressive and angry? Can't be happy bunnies, imo.

Ian Collins is starting to annoy me. When he's not being aggressive he's being sarcastic, not good listening.

It isn't true that Gobber O'Brien is getting a good review in the TV forum, most comments are worse than he gets on here. I started counting the posts against him and got fed up at 38, less than halfway through - and most of the others weren't complimentary either, only a handful were in his favour, for him being on either radio or telly. People can go and see for themselves.

Steve Allen been an utter bitch this morning, wishing a chav would do us all a favour by dying at 04.11

He quickly moved on when he understood what he just said. Might just pass this onto Ofcom.

The producer for Steve Allen has an easy job: They don't take calls so no need to answer phone & it's the only show that doesn't Tweet probably because he/she can't be bothered.

    I wouldn't bother, really.

I heard sod-all from them when I complained (for the first time ever) about Farty Allen saying how Stephen Fry should be killed.

As for LBC management, 'that's just how he is' is what you'll get from them, as I did.

I do wonder if the shows that Steve Allen does are actually live. He's given the time out a few times over the past few days & notice that he's always 2-6 minutes out from the real time.

He doesn't take calls & some shows he doesn't read out messages. He hardly gives out the text number or email either now. Somebody in Global told me he records his shows sometimes the night before.

Oh he is definately live! When I was waklking back from Madame Jojos in Soho via Leicester Square en route back to Portsmouth I bumped into Cristo outside LBC HQ, I was slightly inebriated at the time and asked if he was a 'Friend Of Dorothy's'...taken rather aback he commented on my Pink Tie lol! Anyway, besiders the point, I asked if Steve Allen really was live and he invited me in to ask the security guard lol! So yes, he defo is live! Wouldn't let me nr the studio though and all I wanted was an LBC Mug!!!

You're kidding! He gabbled it every couple of minutes this morning. He really was in a nasty little mood. If there's such a thing as the Blackpool Hoteliers Association, I hope they sue him for saying they've all got rats!

He was being very mysterious about a 'surprise' presenter' sitting in for Beverley on Sunday. I wonder if it's his new BFF Katy Hopkins!

    Morning all. :)

The fake relationship he has with the Hopkins thing won't last.

Sooner or later she will say something that even he can't agree with and he will shut up about her, it'll all fizzle out like it did with Kay Burley.

He associates himself with some awful women, in my opinion, far worse than the ones he slags off daily.

SA said 84850 3 times in 15 seconds this morning..... he also said he was going to report someone who text him in about porn being made in hotels to the police..... Blackpool hotels are all rat infested slums run by scum........ and meatballs, mashed potato and sweetcorn sounded lovely.
