Suprised that no votes came from the UK considering that theu have had most of their chart sucess here. Perhaps they dont have many uk fans but people like a couple of their songs,
Graham Nortons"Denise Van Outen let her self go" comment did not help.
She hasn't had a hit in the UK for ages, so her career has been over for quite some time. If it wasn't already over, she wouldn't need to go to Eurovision! But she's still relatively successful in other parts of the world and she can come up with some decent pop tunes, so she'll be fine

she went quiet in the late 90's, thought it was over, then she produced arguably her best material with 'evacuate the dancefloor'..

Yes, but she hasn't had a hit since 'Evacuate the Dancefloor' (which was indeed one of her best), so her career was not going that well anyway. I'm sure she'll keep releasing music though
I was hoping she would place better, but I wasn't too surprised at the result. There were some songs that I wished placed higher. Oh well, it is Eurovision.
However, that does not at all mean her career is over. It's that she just did badly in Eurovision and that's about it. Her last studio album didn't do crash hot in sales, although the single San Francisco made some moderate success in Germany and Austria. Nevertheless, she will continue to release more music and potentially have some hits like Evacuate The Dancefloor again.
It doesn't sound like euphoria in my opinion - it was my favourite and I'm shocked we didn't give it any points . Hope cascada keep releasing music
BUT perhaps we did?
i would be absolutely astonished if they did not poll high in the 'phone votes'.
the lack of points was almost certainly down to the jury, compromised of a few OAP's in there 70s !!!!
It doesn't rip off 'Euphoria'. People just hear what they're told to hear sometimes!
Cascada / Natalie was fantastic last night! Their career is certainly not over.
Except for the money, having UK chart success is not really that big a deal as any old shit can get in the top 10 these days, and let's face it, Cascada really are the definition of the phrase "any old shit".
it's been confirmed she will release "The World Is In My Hands" as her next single and they are working on an acoustic album of their hits. So to answer the question no
I didn't get why people thought it sounded like eurphoria shocked that it didn't do as well as expected.
people seem to prefer the ballads this year in eurovision.

To me that sounded like a typical Cascada song if you hear most of her material it's very Cascada sounding. It didn't sound like Euphoria it's just because she was singing "Glorious" which is happens to be one word and not saying "Euphoria" .
The thing with Cascada, and I actually did like their catchy hits back in 2006, they/she (are they a group or is she solo?) don't have any star appeal and when you listen to them, it's reminicent of those 2000 dance tracks that featured artists no ones heard of, to the extent that their name wouldn't even be mentioned on the track name: "DJ <name> - Song Title".

But it did sound like a mix of Euphoria and Swedish House Mafia. People didn't say it for no reason.

can't stand Graham Norton when he said that
Glorious was easily the best last night
