Are we only having a 24 song final this time dylan? I prefer the 26 songs final, if I'm honest.

Looking at the draws SF2 seems the stronger one, it as a few more songs that got points from me in the QFs, and I think the songs I don't rate highly in SF2 are more popular with the rest of the reviewers then the ones I don't rate in SF1.

I don't really mind about how many we have in the final. If most want it to be 26, I'll up the number. :D

I only say that because in the contest yoshi94 hosted last year he changed it back to a 24 song final and my IoM song came 13th in the semi's so missed out when before it would have qualified.

Not that I am bitter about it of course (*sticks pins into yoshi94 voodoo doll) :D

But it's also a way of getting 2 extra people into the final so I am all for it (unless those two people are either Alexos or Carlisle, they'e dominated the final quite enough, thank you very much) :D

:D Only joking with you, if I was going to be doing voodoo on you it would have been for you beating me by those 2 little points in the contest previous to that.

Hoping I can get a win this year so I can host and put all my plans into place.

Also hoping for some snappier contests coming up, think we could do with cutting down on the voting periods of the rounds and maybe the sign up/song search time. At this rate we will be lucky to fit in 12 contests this year, so need to speed it up a bit.

In some ways I am happy I didn't win though, I have some great things planned (in my opinion), so I would be incredibly peeved if my contest was affected like yours ended up being by "he who shall not be named".

I have one song in the semis! Hopefully it'll make the final too...

    NQ Votes:
    12 Moldova
    7 Russia
    5 Romania

Sad to lose Moldova, as I really liked that one, Russia I knew wasn't going to make it but it was good nonetheless, and Romania I was hoping would sneak through too, although I wasn't too fussed about it really.

Oh but it was fun. And it ended up as the biggest contest of recent times by page numbers, so it wasn't all bad :p

At least I'm in the semi finals. Whether I make it to the final is another matter altogether!

My votes to Quarter Final Four's non-qualifiers:
    5 points: Russia
    3 points: Jersey
    2 points: Moldova
    1 point: Malta

Congratulations to those who qualified. :) Commiserations to those who have been eliminated. :(
