Why all this feeling sorry for him now and saying that lot of fathers don't bother but he does. He had his chance to be the child's father when it was born and freely chose not to.

Parenting is full time not a pick and chose and gain sympathy when it doesn't go your way.

Eh? What has that got to do with anything?

Even if you want to be a "pop star" then you still need a job in the meantime.

But it doesn't give you experience being a pop star, does it.

I think White Dee will end up in the big brother house at some point. While she isn't technically a "celeb" I can see them throwing her in there next series. Not sure who would look after her kids tho.

I wouldn't be surprised. Especially if this series becomes a big hit with the viewers at home. Charlotte from Geordie Shore went into the house because of the series becoming popular. I can't see Benefits Street lasting as long as Geordie Shore though.

    Thats bad :(

Its not bad imo, his children were put into care and adopted for a reason. He is obviously an unreliable down and out, can u imagine the kind of life those kids would have had. The fact he hadnt seem him for 3 years and then drops into life is unfair on the child. I have a feeling this meeting was set up by the producers and the adoptive parents thought better of it.

White Dee... if he'd wanted to be good father they wouldnt have been adopted would they?

Sorry for Fungi. That was a horrible thing for the adoptive parents to do. :(

I think we aren't being given the full story.

Things like contact be it in person or via letterbox with birth parents etc, are worked out all before adoption etc.

No Mark you are not unlucky, you are just thick as shite.
Too thick to understand that if something is in someone else's name, then you need to take them or bring proof.

You expect the job centre to send you on a "Pop star experience" course?

*are going through, its making me very angry actually. What hope do those 2 have of getting a decent job? Its obvious they aren't the most mentally competent.

I find it shocking they can plead poverty but declare they still 'don't like' some of the free food parcel

I'm really surprised that Fungi had been given a chance to see his son after ex amount of years. If the child has been adopted then the biological parent has relinquished all rights to the child and would have no further rights to see him or contact him. I know for a fact that contact with biological parents, after adoption is frowned on and is totally discouraged and not allowed. I only say it as my sister is a fosterer and has little ones before they are adopted etc..
