Another positive for Sheffield from me.

I went to university there though, so I'm probably biased!

Forgotten Z list celebrity fat bloke Barry Austin lives 1 minute up the road from me (although from his perspective I live 30 minutes down the road from him). And 20 odd minutes away over in Sutton Coldfield is Scott Adkins (star of loads of excellent martial arts films and Expendables 2).

Ah, Henderson's Relish. I have a bottle in my cupboard.

    Sheffield, right, here's my opinion.

City centre: Lovely in parts. Love what they've done with the Winter and Peace Gardens. Also love the Sheffield Tap. BUT, The Moor needs demolishing. Hopefully Sevenstones (new retail development) will put that right.

Suburbs: Like all big, industrial cities, it has some hovels. On the south and west sides of the city though are some lovely areas. I love the Botanical Gardens, Ecclesall Road, and the fact that part of the Peak District falls within your boundaries. Some great views too with Sheffield being so hilly.

My ideal job would be in charge of Sheffield city centre regeneration.

So much untapped (as yet) potential.

Not on other forums they're not. Always complaining that they're overlooked by Leeds and Manchester.

You have to admit, a lot of the city centre needs improving.

Old King Cole. that's a bit desperate. are you sure he existed, bit like me saying Yosser Hughes came from Liverpool.
