Yes I have a kid in South Africa that I fathered with a black girlfriend while living in South Africa....never told the girlfriend or family...never will.

Do you visit the mother and daughter, or pay maintenance?
But when I travelled the US nearly 20 years ago I was mugged at gunpoint, knocked out and spent the night in hospital as a precaution. I told the staff I had no one I wanted contacting (I didn't want my parents woken up at silly o'clock to hear their son was in a hospital 6000 miles away, even for relatively minor reasons)
Sounds more dramatic than it was when typed.
I was about halfway through my trip, I reversed called my parents regularly so they knew I was ok.
After the event I was torn over whether to tell them, as I say it sounds bad just said, and I had been slightly foolish in allowing myself to be in such a position.
So I didn't mention it.
After that, when I came home, it didn't seem right to tell them weeks after the event. So I never did.
I would have liked to tell them, not just the incident, but about how nice the police and hospital staff were, and the funny moments during my brief stay.
I sometimes feel a bit guilty about it to this day, because I have the sort of relationship with my parents where we tell and discuss anything.

I'm guessing no, judging by the original post.
Neither...it was a relatshinshsip that she ended....feel no obligation and no interest.
