My mum said when she was younger she put her high heel through the floor of the car when she was driving. :eek:
The floor of the car must have been very weak or she had very sharp high heels.
That reminds me of my parent's best friend's wife. She was like 5'2" tall (very short) and would wear tall heels. This was during the '70s and she had an old Ford Torino. She would wear her heels while driving and wore a hole in the floor. These old '70s cars were known to rust in the floor where we used to live (used lots of salt on the roads in winter). I just remember liking the Torino, it was a fast car for the time.
I also remember my step-dad telling me that us that he wished she would walk on his back to help with his back problems. I had no idea what that was alluding to when I was a kid however as I grew older, it rather dawned on me. LOL
