  It's sad, because this could have been so much better with more vintage clips and a voice-over rather than that intrusive "look at me" numpty.
  
  There was no need for him to go to New York at all.
  Perhaps he saw himself as did Yentob, who also made an unnecessary trip to the USA for his bought in Imagine programme on the Broadway musicals.
