If it follows the same pattern as last summer, ten weeks, ending on Wednesday 21 August.

    Thanks for that Neil.

15 more eps of TWD to show. Is it safe to assume the bump to Monday night on Ch5 will be for the life of BB. I hope the Demand5 HD version is available in line with the 5* transmission. Similar to how it works with Justified.

Why did they deserve it more than BBC3 or E4?

The other shortlisted channels were BBC Three, E4, CBBC, History Channel and Crime & Investigation. BBC Three should have won here hands down although I'm glad Crime & Investigation was recognised elsewhere in the specialist category.

The most comical result for me by some way occurred in the "Best App or Website" category where BBC Sport lost out to ITV News ! :D

Channel 5 main channel has axed The Walking Dead from Saturday 11pm schedules. It will now only be shown on 5*.
Well that has crashed and burned then considering how well it did for C5 a couple of years ago. I guess there is very little value now in the secondary rights market - certainly airing shows just a few months after the pay TV airing. Show mights fare a bit better airing after the series has completed it's run - but that's probably more the case with comedy than drama and of higher value to digital channels than the big five.

Then again I guess it's nothing new - how many US series have C4 had over the last 10-15 years which started out strongly but soon struggled in the ratings, getting pushed to later and later slots. A slight wobble in the ratings and they were soon pushed back from 10pm, most eventually ending up after midnight.

I am quite a fan of the ITV News website to be honest - it's blog format works well IMO. Still visit the BBC News site first though.

I suppose the ITV News website timeline style format is quite innovative.

It isn't just an award about how much content you've got I expect.

Just in the same way that Channel of the year isn't just how much worthy upmarket TV you are broadcasting either.

I imagine it will stay like this for the remainder of the season now. There would be little point in moving it back to Saturday nights just for a few weeks, after BB and CBB, when something else would probably rate better. (I'm thinking procedural repeats.)

Yes. As per FAQ on website:
    Dallas

    When is Dallas shown?

Series 2 of Dallas concluded on Channel 5 on Tuesday 7th May 2013.

Will you be showing Series 3?

We can confirm that we have acquired the rights to Series 3, but it is too early to say when it will be shown.
