I don't like Phil and Paul, I think they're very wooden and stilted.......they always sound as though they're reading from a book !
That's because they do often just read out the race guide !!
They need some new phrases to describe the action though, rather than "you drop 20 places if your touch your brakes", "it's steeper on the inside".

For me, Phil and Paul are the voices of cycling. I'll always choose them over anyone else. But I have got used to Sean Kelly on Eurosport. I like him.

    can't remember it though.......

Not sure if you've mentioned that before apols if so

It's no doubt the same as when you went :D I bottled going to the bottom of the Cove as not good with heights though I did the Settle to Carlisle train journey, breath taking stuff.

    Seconded.

    Thirded.

Proud of my city for such a cracking turnout, though!
Can see the 'copter following it from my garden but it's moving on, now. Following most of it on ITV as I decided not to join the hordes.

Outskirts of the city look beautiful from above!

By 'eck, ooh la la and all that.

Grrr, why didn't the BBC get the rights to this.

Don't think the BBC have been interested, would have be awkward for the BBC had they had the TV rights covering the Tour this weekend with Wimbledon Finals & the Formula One British Grand Prix.
