Non Catholics are perfectly entitled to follow their own way of life. If they want to buy hundreds of condoms and have dozens of abortions and also have same sex relations they can do so. I couldn`t care less.

Well it is hardly news. One pope leaves, another comes along. Surprise surprise!! And it a new pope for the catholic church. The rest of the world couldnt care less.

I don't attack the catholic church's policies because they come from religion. I attach them because they are stupid, inhumane and belong in the history books.
I could do, but see no reason to. When we get post after post about how great the catholic church is, I take notice, and form opinions, when the same posters refuse to comment on sexual abuse within the church.
Why do they always pick old men? Given the stresses of the job and the travelling it makes more sense to pick someone younger. 76 is pretty old. In a few years time he'll probably step down due to ill health.

I see the opposite. Thread after thread and post after post of catholic bashing. I do see Azzuri post this stuff a lot too but it looks like a reaction to all the other posts. The new pope was heavily criticized on herestarting yesterday as soon as his name was announced. He hasn't had a chance to do anything yet and still he was criticized.
