It didn't make sense. Karl had black gloves on, was holding a heavy trophy and was talking in an intense almost threatning way telling him to give up, but Dev didn't smell a rat.

Totally agree.
Also why does Dev feel the need to tell Stella/Karl about his detective work, Stella was the one who told him Sunita didn't love him which made him doubt their relationship and led to Dev splitting up with Sunita, and Karl had an affair with Sunita so I don't understand why he's calling them good mates and telling them everything. If he had not blabbed he'd probably have got closer to proving Sunita innocent.

That scene was ridiculous. It was like Karl was a pantomime villain.

yeah.. Its good watching them looking out for someone who is obviously distressed..... its also nice to see Mary looking out for him and the kids.

Another one - being out of pineapple juice? I wasn't watching the other night but my mum said Glo had mentioned they needed to sell all the pineapple juice because it was reaching its sell by date (even though the pub only reopened last week so they hardly had loads of old stock) and then tonight it was all gone...are they going somewhere with this pineapple story I wonder?

I so agree with this. The relationship that they have portrayed between Dev, Karl and Stella since the fire is totally bizarre. As if he would ever want to even look at either of them again for the rest of his life.
