I went to the Job Centre on the 17th for my initial interview and was told my claim was going to be processed and it would take 15-20 days to do that.
Tomorrow will be the 19th day and i've heard nothing about my claim and i'm getting really worried.
I'm constantly applying to several jobs daily so don't tell me to get a job because thats exactly what i'm trying to do.
Since my initial interview i've signed on once and the woman said i'm signed on up until the 29th of June now and my next date is the 13th of July but i've received no money and no letter of confirmation.
Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Did you provide everything they needed at your new claim such as bank details, payslips ID and so on? If not they may be waiting on this - they only way you will find out is by speaking to them.
I gave all the information.
I haven't had a job so I don't have payslips, i've just withdrawn from university for health reasons but i'd withdrawn when i applied.
Its just quite worrying due to it being the 19th day tomorrow.

I know this isnt you but im just saying this is what went on where my friend worked. So you may just have to wait a little longer. When i signed on for first time they said there was a back log and i would have to wait longer than average, as it happens it went through as normal but still...
Back to the original poster - I can guess what the delay is. If you have left University they will be checking the finance details of bursaries and getting the original end of year dates and this could be the cause of the delay. It may be a case that if you have had finance to the end of the year you may not get JSA until the official end of the school year
Maybe, if he received funding for this year he will be eligible from July 31st.
I'm not surprised that your friend doesn't work there any more.
