Captain America : Civil War
Well Marvel have lifted the social media embargo very early on this one , which is not surprising given the early, hugely positive response.
Need a lift after BvS and this looks like it.
Interesting that people are saying that Spidey is in it much more than expected and that he is grin inducingly brilliant.
Black Panther gets a good response as does the future husband and wife team of Witch and Vision.
Happy days.

Although another response said that it was letdown after the high of Winter Solider and Civil War is just a better and smarter version of Batman Vs Superman!
Most responses seem to be mixed so far towards Civil War but then I wasn't a fan of Winter Solider and none of the Civil War trailers have got me excited for it yet so maybe I'm biased!
What was the response like to Winter Soldier if it was mainly positive than will give this a miss, until it's shown on tv...so many disappointments with the Marvel avenger films.
Although I loved Ant Man who I've read is great in Civil War which is good to hear
It seems to be that this is a transition stage for Marvel films as they move from Phase 2 into Phase 3 and the focus on the new superheroes like Spider-Man,Ant Man etc for their future films!
I would be surprised if both Cap and Iron Man make it out of Civil War alive though!
That's fine...horses for courses.
I'm in the unusual position it seems of having liked both Marvel and DC comic book output and always hope that the films for both are good.
But if people want to childishly pick sides then go for it..who knows, in 20 years or so there will be wars waged over this nonsense instead of religion. Morons will always find something to fight over.
The trouble with Ultron is that the final battle was very reminiscent of Avengers and there wasn't enough different to enthuse. The first Avengers film was fun and given a pass because Whedon pulled off the near impossible stunt of bringing all of these characters to the screen together.
I view the big ensembles as fun but look to the "smaller" films for a bit more quality. Really hope that Dr Strange is anything like the early comics..that could be great.
However Civil War seems to have got the big ensemble piece right..apparently "best superhero fight evah !!"
It's just the avengers films that disappoint me with the odd exception..the first Ironman and Thor films. It probably doesn't help that as a character/superhero I really have never taken to Captain America.
Well apparently there is no Iron Man 4 in the works.
Although I think myself it's good that Marvel are freshening up their film line up for Phase 3 with new superheroes especially after the success of Ant Man as limiting the characters films to trilogies would be a good idea but we will see what happens!
Anyway Civil War seems to be more Avengers 2.5 than Cap 3!
Character wise, I'm not sure how much a 4th Iron Man movie would make sense. It's actually a big problem I have with Age of Ultron and a little bit with the setup to Civil War.
In Iron Man 3 he was suffering from PTSD after what happened in New York, the movie ends with him choosing to destroy his suits and leave it behind. Then in Age of Ultron he is tinkering again and is actually the cause of the problem. I found that really jarring and a big step back in his character development, like Iron Man 3 never happened. Then in Civil War he is saying they need to be kept in line.... no Tony that's just you obviously. His character is a bit all over the place.
Black Panter as well sounds incredible
Empire: *****
Matching its blockbuster scale and spectacle with the smarts of a great, grown-up thriller, *Captain America: Civil War* is Marvel Studios’ finest film yet.

Total Film: 5 out of 5
The superhero slugfest this summer deserved. The emotional stakes couldn’t be higher, the big fight delivers in every conceivable way and Tom Holland’s amazing Spider-Man steals the show. Up there with the best of Marvel.

The only bad comments I've read are that despite Spider-Man being great it does feel like they added his character after the film was finished and you could quite easily take him out of the film which would make no difference at all in the quality of the film!
think only children would interpret a scene like that though.
