11200-V2 Tablet

I've used the Trust 1200 V2 SCROLL TABLET successfully for years in a pc using XP, but when I tried to install the CD ROM software into my laptop which uses Vista, it failed. I tried a couple of times, finally causing the computer to go into fault condition. When I got it started again, I opened Programs and Features to see if it had been installed, but the only thing that showed was the device name: 1200-V2 WIRELESS SCROLL TABLET and the date, but there were no MB's in the SIZE column so obviously, the installation had failed.

I decided to plug the device into the laptop without using the software ROM, and it seemed to work. To use the tablet, I opened Photoshop elements 2, and tried to do a test drawing, but there were two arrow pointers (one above the other) moving in unison as I moved the tablet pen over the tablet's surface, also, the arrows were flickering on and off rapidly.

I'm guessing that the problem is that the tablet and its software are incompatible with the Vista OS.

Does anyone know the answer to this, please.
