In shops today. Special Wimbledon edition.
I haven't seen it yet but assume it is the £2 regular price.

I think special editions and guest editors are great for the Beano. I am sure lots of famous people would be happy to be involved. It's been in several newspapers this week.

    When I first bought the Beano it was 38p and that was only in 1995.

    Amazing how things change, by the time I stopped buying it in about 2001 it was about 55p I think.

    Haven't read one since really.

    Went up from 55p to 60p that year.

    I have to say, I loved the Beano and still have a soft spot. In the attic I have the old Beano annuls from years of collecting them as a youngster which I look at every few years.

    Otherwise I didn't like the change in animation and drawings. I preferred the older style

    last week I prepared a presentation about the London museum of cartoons, and I found out that there are a lot of the issues, icluding the 1st one
