I hope so. I agree, although I liked Dani with Ed, they don't seem right together long term

Wow what an episode! I feel so sorry for Angela. I can see Macs going right out for revenge now.

I can't see myself feeling sorry for Gaynor. I assume he is going to threaten to get her sacked over their affair. Well, she did it to herself, no blackmail needed there.

I loved the way tonight's episode was shot, with all the long shots. Makes such a change from all the static shots on set. Whatever happens this week its going to look lovely.

I don't think I've ever felt sorry for Gaynor! She's very unlikeable as a person but interesting as a character

I like Dani, but I lost sympathy for her somewhat when she didn't turn those photo's of schoolboys over to the police. I don't think a light romance is the right storyline for Dani at the moment, considering everything going on with her father and brother.

Wow what Macs-centric episode last night!

Hywel is a disgraceful Father - encourging his son to lie and ruin a Teachers career for his own selfish reasons! He knew that Macs conviction of ABH would go against him (and he even knows that the only reason Macs did that was because he was dealing with his rape ordeal!).

I wished Macs had told the panel that the reason that Rhys hit him was because he had slept with Gaynor - she deserves to be punished for her part in all of this too...yes Macs had been goading both Rhys and Hwyel but he didn't deserve to be punch by a student and to have his career ruined for it!!

Hope the truth comes out and Macs gets reinstated!

I don't think there would be a point where one cast was completely replaced by another.

Are you asking when the major families got introduced? The Whites, the Monks and Gaynor and her family? Someone who has watched for a while might be able to tell us that.

Yes, sderr, that's what I meant. I'd like to see dvds of the current families when they were all younger. I've seen bits on youtube from the early 90s and don't recognise most. I'll be in Wales in a couple of months time so maybe I'll get one then.

I still don't understand everyone has forgiven Gwyneth do you? Or why Gwyneth is so judgmental of Gethin? He didn't lie, but even if he did why does Garry feel bad for Gwyneth?

I have no time for Gwyneth.

No one likes Gwyneth, but we're stuck with a silly storyline where everyone has forgiven her. They never should have made Gwyneth the murderer. Since she really didn't have motive to set the fire, it made her look evil. Then everyone forgave her which is completely unbelievable. You watch Eileen unable to forgive Sioned or Macs and Izzy coming up years later and then you have a scene where Gwyneth and Garry are best mates and it looks ridiculus.

Oh did you see the digital spy spoiler pictures for next week?
Monday's episode shows Macs telling his secret to a short dark haired woman. I think its Bethany, and I have a guess what the secret is.

Bethany remember the student Macs was tutoring. She used to be Rhys' girlfriend. Rhys thought Macs might have raped her because of Hwyel.

That week where Hwyel, told Rhys about Izzy. I think that was probably a clue to what might be coming in the future.

The short dark haired woman could be Gemma. She seems to be shoe horned into a lot of episodes lately. And she loves to cause trouble.
Just a guess on my part...I haven`t seen any pics.

Not curly hair straight hair and in the school. Gemma seems unlikely. Ffion maybe a possibility too. http://www.digitalspy.com/soaps/s93/pobol-y-cwm/spoilers/a466016/macs-shares-a-secret.html

I think its likely what happened with Scot is going to come back in a big way. It makes sense that it comes up now, it so directly ties into what is going on with, Moc, Gethin and now Garry. If everything blows up at once that would be one HUGE ending.

I agree. Everything is tied together now and also it was brought up again last night - it was probably the only reason why Macs was found guilty....at least so easily

I suppose it could still be about the baby.
There is a spoilers about Jinx asking Iolo to be his best man.

Here is the problem with that. I don't see a way for Macs to get a DNA test. The only proof that he could be Arwen's father is his memory. He never had a relationship with Ffion, she doesn't remember sleeping with him, and he is very troubled. So how does he get a court to grant a DNA test?

I think this comes up if Arwen gets sick, which was hinted at in the Christmas episode. The whole issue of genetics.

I had hoped that storyline had been forgotten about! I would hate it if Macs is the father.

I think it comes up in the future, we haven't seen a lot of Jinx and Ffion lately. I think the stuff from the Christmas episode comes back in a big way. But hopefully when it comes up there might actually be some kind of reason Macs could challenge Jinx for custody. Unless I am missing something, what is that right now? I can't think of one reason Macs could challenge Jinx.

Sorry the student's name is Rachael. Oops thought it was Bethany.:o

Macs is coming off as quite depressed, the thing with Rachael came across as really sad.

i have never been prouder of Rhys than I did tonight!

He finally realised that he was being manipulated by his Father for his own personal gain and finally stood up to him and told the truth!

So I guess Rachel is the one Macs tells his "secret" to but which one....his history with Izzy...his own rape ordeal....sleeping with Gaynor or the fact that he could possibly be a Father?

The only one to make sense is his own rape ordeal.....but still curious as to why he would suddenly bring it up after all this time?
