That's down to the block storytelling isn't it? They always film a storyline 2 or 3 weeks and then on to the next completely unrelated thing.
This used to be the case but for a while now it's been week-long storylines and, unless Freddie is involved, the stories are long forgotten ie How is Cindy getting on? Is Jason still on steroids?

The Lomaxes feel quite pointless now their family has been diminished. The Leela/Tegan dynamic isn't interesting.
Lindsey has lied about the date of conception. She had to have gotten pregnant around when she slept with Freddie. I thought that was around the time of baby Katie's death.

That still doesn't line up, Katy died at the beginning of April, that would not make her 8 months gone now. Maxine is still due to give birth and had her 12 week scan in April. To be 8 months she'd have to have conceived in early February.
