Hi there
For some reason none of the electricity sockets are working in my kitchen, though fine in other rooms (have tested sitting room, bedroom etc)
Have looked at the fuse box thingy and all the switches for the different rooms are set to 'on' - don't actually know how to open it up to check fuses - any suggestions as to what to do welcome.... would be good not to have the hassle of calling an electrician out!

Also check for a secondary RCD box or that the RCD switch in the main box is on, rcd breakers often only cover certain areas so the entire house wont be without power if it gets tripped. it may only cover the kitchen, bath room and garden.
