Hi

Has anyone had any experience of this company or their products?;

http://www.100percentpure.co.uk/default.asp

I'm asking for my wife as she has sensitive skin (this is for facial products), so general advise I've read is natural ingredients, no alcohol, less ingredients etc...also any opinions on make up as well.

Or any other product range suggestions are welcome.

Many Thanks.

Natural ingredients can still be irritating - e.g. essential oils.

La Roche Posay are mid-priced and effective, and I think are designed for sensitive skin. They are all unfragranced.

She went for La Roche Posay as reasonably priced and easily available, and (fingers crossed) so far she says the range is great.

    Many Thanks.

I haven't tried this company but I have super-sensitive skin and have tried loads of different natural brands over the years. I prefer products with as few ingredients as possible, and all natural if possible. I avoid all fragrance (even natural essential oils)

    My recommendations are:

    Cleanser: Avène Exremely gentle cleanser.

Make-up: Bare Minerals (their original 100% loose mineral range, not the newer blended products which include other ingredients).

Body wash, hand cream, body lotion and shampoo/conditioner: A'kin. Their Unscented Very Gentle range is lovely - so gentle on fragile, sensitive skin. Not cheap though, so always on my Christmas/Birthday list!

Sorry to hijack this thread, but Bare Minerals loose foundation does contain Bismuth which can be extremely irritant to some people.
Those who love it, love it, but it doesn't suit everyone.

Really? I didn't know that. Just shows, nothing is right for everyone.

I can only speak from personal experience - I have extremely sensitive and reactive skin, and I'm OK with bare minerals foundation.

Thanks for posting this info, MrMarple.

I've never had any irritation from Bare Minerals Foundation, but I try to avoid any possible irritants, so I was a bit concerned.

I've done a bit more research, and have found out that while the Bare Minerals Original SPF15 Foundation does contain Bismuth Oxychloride, their Matte SPF15 Foundation does not contain it.

I'm going to try the Matte option instead. Thanks again for posting. :)
