Welcome back fellow Nookie lovers, no that was a bear wasn't it.

Couldn't see a thread when I searched, two episodes in and enjoying the new series, found it very easy to get back into the swing of things. With The Commodore going all out for Nucky I think we should be in for an equally great series this time.

I loved Margeret going undercover to save Nucky's bacon, and her seemingly willing to become a big part of his empire. She's tasted the good life and she wants more!

I wondered about that, I thought she was after that birth control stuff she hides in the toilet. When he mentioned the ledger at the end I realised.

The new Irish man is going to be a good asset for Nucky. He's hard as nails!

    Another great ep :D

Anyone recognise the Jewish butcher Jimmy & Richard went to see? It was William Forsythe - Al Capone in the 1990s TV version of The Untouchables ;)

I was covering the screen with my hand, that meat was pretty yucky.

They never got their liver and onions in the end either. Wonder what the chef did with it.

Jimmy's Mum has waited a long time for her revenge. She seemed to be enjoying it.

It's all unravelling, was expecting a full scale war but they have nicely turned everything around by crippling the Commodore. Richard is an intriguing character, even the slow scenes in the woods kept me watching.

Why two threads ( UK / US pace ) ...aren't they shown almost at the same time ?

Sky Atlantic is a couple of weeks behind HBO.

I love Richard. He gets better every week. Even when he does really horrible things, you still can't help but feel for him. His humanity was lost in the war, and his wounds seem to be stopping him from rediscovering it. Going out murdering people with Jimmy probably doesn't help either.

Nice to see Dominic Chianese (Uncle Junior) from The Sopranos as well:

How slow was this week's episode, seemed to take two hours.

Very filling though, and gruesome. Mrs Nucky is after the help, nicely done confession there, superb writing as usual.

That was a decent episode I guess.

Thought it was just a bit stupid how the guy couldn't kill Nucky. He had enough time to fire more than one shot and had a good aim at him. Margret's story was fairly predictable so a bit dull there, and Van Alden was a bit dull again.

My favourite scene was when all the number two's were in the Commodore's home discussing the next step. Was waiting for them all to officially get together and 'chat'.
