Hi
As my title suggests I have some TV shows that have become stuck on my Planner and I can't delete them.
I set a show to record via the Sky App so it was recording while I was travelling home, I got home and discovered that two episodes had been recorded, but on the planner instead of the title of the show it has the date - 05/01 - and when I try to open up the page with the recordings (it is in one of those folders) it says "there are no programmes in your Sky+ Planner"
This has resulted in around 4% being took up in my planner but no way of being able to delete it - I have tried rebuilding the planner with no success, so I am asking anyone who can help, please help
Thank you in advance.

Do the other recordings in your planner work OK?
If not, you might as well try a full system reset as you've nothing to lose. You say you've already tried a planner rebuild.
If you still can't delete the program then the next thing to try is a software update.
If that doesn't work then the only way would be a System reset but that would delete the entire contents of the planner.
Bit of a pain, but it will fix things one way or another if you think it necessary.

Apart from all your recordings
It's always the very last resort after everything else has been tried of course!
I'm sure I had this problem a couple of years ago. From what I remember, I unplugged the box at the mains, waited a few minutes and then plugged it back in and waited for the box to reboot. This seemed to solve the problem. Have you tried this?
Ryan
This would have rebooted the box.
I did not do a full restore, I have shows I still need to watch and so I thought I would leave that option for a while.
The problem was there wasn't a way to access the individual programmes - due to them being in a folder and selecting in that folder came up with the message I stated previously.
However I came up with a solution which might help others who run into this situation.
Basically you need to install the Sky Remote app on a smart phone if you have one, this will allow you access to your planner via the phone. Once inside the planner the programmes are all listed individually without the folder system and all you need do is simple delete them here. It worked and now I have my space back.
Thanks for the advice and I hope this will be helpful for others with my issue.
Just to confirm, you had one stack in your planner that you couldn't open, although other stacks and individual recordings were OK.
Trying to open the faulty stack produced a "no recordings in planner" message.
A planner rebuild reboot did not sort it out.
The recordings were set up using the Sky App, and could subsequently only be deleted using the Sky App, which doesn't show stacks.
If that's correct Sky need to be told about this, have you reported it on the Sky help forum?
It's not something I've ever heard of happening before, and could well be an issue with the current software version.
It looks like recordings set up by the App, if they generate a stack in the planner, that stack then can't be accessed by the box itself, which is very strange!
