Would you do something like this when getting married?

Saw this on facebook earlier and couldn't make up my mind whether it was lovely or a bit cringey. Although, I did feel a little emotional at times.:D

One thing for sure, she is a very brave young lady.

Could any of you do something like this? Do you think it's lovely, or totally cringeworthy?

I must admit, these are the responses I expected. :D

It's kinda sweet, if not a little cringey...but they are very young....

And we all remember young love.....right? ;-)

No. No no no. Me and my fiance can both sing and we both do amateur dramatics, and I dare say there will beban element of live music to our wedding day, but not that. No.

Horrible venue, toilet roll holder dress, but if they're happy being that tacky....

Going to show my age here-bride reminds me of 80s popstar Sonia, lookswise, especially side on at the altar.

I think it's sweet and it works - for them, mind, for them - because of the groom's reaction - how proud is he! Aww. :D

My husband couldn't look at me when I walked down the aisle because it made him far too emotional. His bestman, mortified that his drinking buddy was being such a girl, hissed at him to look forward and not at me. >:(

So I walked down the aisle listening to him foofing and if I'd sung the words in my head it would have been, "Look at me, you big girl's blouse bollox. I look like a fox! LOOK AT ME!!" through gritted teeth.

If I sang, he'd have been crying for a whole other reason.

Still think they should have had the A-Team Van if they wanted to be different.

The venue was horrible. They think they can polish a turd by sticking up a gazebo yoke? No. ^_^

Well I think it's the least you could have done to entertain the DSers, could have been discussing your wedding right now.;-)

Actually, I thought she had a half decent voice.

Better than some of the dross i've heard on X Factor.

:D Ha ha. You lot wouldn't even have given us a year.

"I give it til the cake."

    "Cringe."

    "Is the groom self-harming?"

Wedding in large, ugly but clean, venue, bride sings love song as she walks down aisle, as young looking groom looks all pink, proud and dewy eyed.

    Noooooo,never.

Some people might say yes,he's getting married-but not I, otherwise that would make a big self harmer too, having done that twice. No singing down the aisle, no Dirty Dancing epic as a first dance, no loo roll holder dress.
