Loved the scene with Buster and Dermot in the pub,
"Ugly girls can leave you too!"
    "Yeah but who cares!?"

Just want to add my congratulations to Mrs Brown's Boys on their award in the NTAs tonight! Very well deserved, I'm delighted for them! :)

Not sure what I made of this week's episode. Grandad needs to get off the viagra he is much better with silent or few word scenes.

Did enjoy Mrs B's internet dating computer search.

This was the weakest of this series episodes, with some minutes of padding out. Is it the fifth of six?

Reading the different interviews with him from last night, it seems highly likely it will return for a fourth series (and it's already confirmed there will be another two Christmas specials this year) :)

It would be a better xmas double episode if the xmassy stuff were left out as proven by the staged farce in the second part back in december.

Feels like the end of the series but we still have one more to go.

Are those two who were meant to be going to Australia meant to be husband and wife?

They look more like father and daughter.

I agree - I guess it's been set up for Rory and Deano's wedding to tie up the series?

Great episode tonight; especially with the iphone. :D:o

One thing I noticed tonight was she said Raser had been dead 25 years and they were trying to cut his pension....but the other week Mrs Brown was saying Raser had been dead 27 years....not the end of the world another brilliant episode all the same :D

She also said she hadn't had sex for years and her legs had been together longer than rolling stones... how quickly she forgets "Rent A Dick" ;)

I've recently watched the film Agnes Browne, based on The Mammy book, and it's set in 1967, the year Redser died. The children are born mid-50s onwards, making Mark at least 57, and the others not too far behind. I think some changes have been made for the television show, but it's things like that I find annoying. :(

I don't think she was about to admit that to Winnie - a knowing look to the camera would have been nice but it would have ruined the 'big lips' comment which followed.

Don't forget though that Agnes is meant to be only 70 or so (or early 70s anyway) making it nearly impossible for her to have a 57 year old son in the current series....in other words the current Agnes is younger than the one from the 1999 movie.

Her 'When Harry Met Sally' moment was brilliant (in front of two Catholic priests too) :D

Yes, that's true. It's just a little confusing sometimes when reading the books, watching the film, seeing the original series, and now the television series. Of course it's easier for a 70 year old to do what she does than an 80/90 year old. :D

the episode reminded of the time my mum bought a vibrating cushion in selfridges, and later on when the family were sitting in a train on the london underground, asked if she could try it... it was very loud.. :D
