Dual shock 4 charging issues.. No orange light....

after testing the USBs with another device they seem to have power.. But the controllers don't seem to be charging ... Left it on rest mode while I go to work so if it's still on one bar when I get home something is not right..

Have ticked the power to use option and always on option in the power save settings...

Could be te actual cable so will check that, have disconnected and re conceited the controller and also unplugged the power etc

A second controller synced as well so the ports must be ok...

    Reset the controller .: haven't tried that

    seems to be the usb cable

    Bought a cable from Amazon which should do until they can open their charging docks, mind you need a cable to sync the pad...

    Every device sold now uses same cable so should end up with loads of them.

    All devices bar apple that is who can't agree anything.

    Exactly...my lads HTC phone has a lead with it but that didn't work and I have an iPhone...

    Strange a lead should just stop working though, but at least it's not the ports as the PS4 was out of warranty yesterday

    The lead I got with the ps4 was a bit dodgy, seemed loose and wobbly. Using a spare from a phone and works fine.

    Got a great 3 metre usb.. £3 from Amazon,, all charging again
