Anyone know how to prevent being throttled when using P2P on EE broadband?
I'm using uTorrent but during the hours of 5.30 - 11.30pm it just wont work
Does anyone know a way around this?

I guess some things never change.

A year ago i was using utorrent for my linux distros and i did call up and found that T-Mobile (sorry to let you down) T-Mobile/Orange now called EE same applys to the virtual networks like Virgin Mobile they dont allow P2P ports (they do but very slow even VoIP ports) Is only 3 UK mobile broadband that can use P2P ports without no speed/throttling but bear in mine of your usage and the network speed of the cell tower.:)
Also Three has a virtual network called samba mobile what is a virtual network of Three UK http://www.sambamobile.com never tryed them out but i think they work on the same system as 3 UK network.
VPN but again it would cost more then a fixed line.
I believe the OP was referring to EE's fixed line broadband, not mobile.
