I seem to remember that someone started a thread last year saying that anyone wearing pink was always voted off, they gave examples of those in the pink that had been voted off....Has it struck again?

    Gemma Bissex and Andrei - pink
    Sinitta and Andrei - pink
    Sarah Green and Fred - pink
    Tamara Beckwith and Sergey - pink.

    All of them with the exception of Natalie who went out the week after Sarah Green were out in the first week.

    Green is the unlucky colour for the guys, although the only ones I remember are

    Graeme Le Saux and Kristina (male week)
    Jeremy Edwards and Darya (the first joint week)

    Same on SCD...still haven't got over Austin Healey and I'm sure there's been other eliminations on there in pink.

    I think they think its the curse of the first week pink (all series apart from 1 the girls have gone out wearing pink on the first week)

    It's funny that this got a bit blown out of proportion after someone (Anton?) on ITT said something about how the largest percentage of people going out in a dance-off are wearing pink...and then I'm pretty sure he added that a large percentage of people on SCD wear pink, so it made sense.

    It does seem worse for DOI though, doesn't it (at least for the women)?

    And green's the unlucky colour for the boys apparantly. However, green in ice skating is generally an unlucky colour anyway...

    I have heard Jayne Torvill say that and I can't say that I have ever seen that many Pro skaters wearing it in competitions either!

    I heared somewhere (don't know whether it was on a forum or Defrosted or somewhere) that some of the pro's on DOI refuse to wear green when performing. Superstition is justifiable when you look at the pink situation at the mo!

    As soon as the dancers were introduced at the beginning I said it would be Emily or Sinitta who were voted off.

    Its not the same for boys, its green for the boys not pink :)
