The flags have waved, the bells doth ring
We have at last a king! king! king!
The court of Windsor we celebrate
Even though you were so late!
And now you're home to rest awhile
And make your parents coo and smile
Are you noisy? Are you strong?
Are you hairy like old King Kong!
Tis time to latch on to mummy's teat
Ah that milk - mm so warm ahh so sweet
One day you'll be shod of nappies soiled
From grand pop and grandma you will be spoiled
And as we bid you a fond good night
Be still dear George and sleep so tight
We're honoured to be in your presence royal
And up and down the land we toil
To keep your Britain so great, so strong
In your hands we can't go wrong.
Doze now child ''tis sleep o'clock
And in your mummy's arms doth baby rock x
