I think Brian Cox is great. He is obviously head over heels in love with his subject and just full of enthusiasm. He just wants to share his pleasure and knowledge and it works really well. He never patronises and is so infectious with his joy that he has me smiling back at him.
I only found out the other day, that the Lightning that he went up in crashed at an airshow, killing the pilot (although not the pilot who took him up). A bit sad really as the ejection mechanism failed to work apparently.
