pda gps

hey

im thinking of getting this package
Palm TE2 PDA with TomTom Navigator 5 Bluetooth GPS system

anyone have any experience of using this system, pros and cons etc?
id be really grateful.

    One observation - this runs PalmOS, not Windows Pocket PC.


    Neither is necessarily better or worse than the other but it is like the VHS / Betamax debate.

    If you already have any Pocket PC software, it won't run on this device.

    You can also consider integrated devices which are a standard PDA with the GPS reveiver built-in.

    i wanted the palm os as a prog i use for work only runs on plam.

    the integrated ones looked more bulky- any experience of them?

    Haven't personally used TomTom on a PDA - but you could look here (link) for more information and a review Here (link).

    Personally, unless you really want a PDA and GPS navigator - I would look at a dedicated GPS nav unit such as the TomTom One - much easier to set up, usually better audio. but remember they are the most stolen devices for cars atm - so think how to carry it
