Predictions about this forum and series 4 DW

Very soon we will have a confirmed date for the new series. What will we post about then? My predictions:

Catherine Tate is going to be useless.
Catherine Tate is/is not useless.
Bring back Martha.
Martha is useless.
Bring back Rose.
Why did they bring back Rose, it ruins the end of series 2.
Bloody eurovision!
Where is Davros?
Where is the Rani?
Why did Catherine Tate leave, she was brilliant.
Can't believe we now have to wait until Christmas until the next new story, if only the series had not started early in April, it would still be on.
Which bank holiday?

    Hopefully,

wow, who would've thought we'd see Docs 4-9 on screen again, as well as CGI'ed mock ups of 1-3. Along with messrs Lethbridge Stewart, Benton and Fraser.
To anybody who hasn't yet seen it, on a special commentary for the 5 doctors 25th anniversary DVD released this week, messrs Tennant and Collinson discuss that they should really do a ten doctors story;):p
I'll keep my fingers crossed for a very long time for that LOL!

I'm hoping that Auntie Beeb won't cover the Saturday FA Cup semi final that's due for warly April live and kick it off around 5:15pm. We could almost guarantee extra time and penalties and a later start for DW then.
Fingers crossed if they show the Saturday semi-that it'll kick off at lunchtime

You've forgotten the obligatory : RTD can't write scripts for toffees
    and
Oh no another "Deus ex machina" ending to save the day

    How about

    RTD is useless

The Sun says that xxxxxxx will be the next Doctor

The Mirror says that yyyyyyy will be the next Doctor

That was 45 mins of my life that I won't get back

RTD lied about < insert character/monster/foe here > returning/not returning

Why do we have to have the daleks in EVERY series?

Every week I watch this <AUP> in the vain hope that it will get better

    The cgi was pathetic

Why isn't it in HD? Torchwood is, so why not Who?

"Oooh, I've just wet my knickers over next week's Moffat episode and just know it's going to be the best ever even though I haven't even seen the trailer because I didn't want to spoil the surprise..."

Some people will love it, some people will hate it.

Those that hate it will state their opinions loudly as if they're part of some mass campaign to bring down the series and that will anger some people who like it into responding with how it is brilliant and as usual a small war will ensue.

Meanwhile 95% of all fans will post their liking/disliking opinions and be ignored by the point scorers and won't get involved.

Dervish will post about the new series in his/her/it's (whichever version of the comedy construction is posting this week) own thread despite the on-going discussion thread of a particular episode, speaking about how she/he/it speaks for the entire Doctor Who fanbase and that "Billions of people agree!"

Other people will post threads goading Dervish because they think it is funny when the whole thing couldn't be less funny.

Someone will turn up and post spoilers in a thread title because they think it is funny (I'm suprised we've got so far through Torchwood with different people watching different weeks without this happening tbh)

I'll have my fun with the series. And in the end, that's all that matters really, isn't it? /typical male :D

It won't make any difference to you since you won't be watching, remember?

Actually could you clarify for me, is it all the people who make up the Dervish Collective (bloke Dervish, young woman Dervish, Granny Dervish) who'll not be watching or just one part of you?

I've never, ever, met anyone in real life who uses that phrase :); I've only ever seen it being used by the "I'm really intelligent 'cos I speak Latin" types of people that come on here spreading their cleverness...

The Second Coming of Paul McGann believers have been quiet this year. They can usually be found chanting "Paul McGann is coming! Paul McGann is coming!" (to the tune of the Coca Cola advert)

Perhaps they've given up hope of seeing their idol play the Doctor again?

Doesn't that really depend on what type of people you know 'in real life'?

Yep. Those being the sort that don't speak Latin in everyday life :). I'd never even heard of the phrase "Deux ex Machina" (or how ever you spell it) before I came here. Don't take that as a personal insult because it wasn't - takus a chillus pillus ;)
