It could have been a separate conversation he was referring to though and as others have pointed out, he has said she is controlling in the kitchen in the diary room, so Calum blatantly lied about that.
Calum called Nadia controlling in his nomination. Given that Michelle also said the same in her nomination, I would imagine the conversation that Perez saw did actually take place as both Calum & Michelle used the same word.
Perez claimed that Calum said that word in the conversation with Michelle....which he clearly didn't.
You say 'clearly', but how can it be clear?
If we know that Calum said it in the diary room it doesn't sound that implausible that he may have mentioned it in conversation with Michelle too.
We weren't shown Michelle saying that this country needs a voice on the HL show. So we could say that she 'clearly' never said it. But we know that she did, only because BB uploaded a clip online.
There must be loads of little things that they don't upload online or show on the HL show.
But he did say that he was going to cook <knowing look> because he wanted to cook you know <knowing look> chicken and vegetables <knowing look> ...Lets see how nadia actually feels when she sees the footage. I got the same impression as Perez did but its open to interpretation.

Or maybe they are just psychic...
That does make sense you know. Often when housemates give exactly the same reasons for nominating somebody it is frequently because housemates have been discussing that thing together in the house.

Yes in the flashback clip I definitely took his tone as being very sarcastic.
Comments
It didn't take long!
Perez is back for five minutes and she's back to her interfering and busybody ways.
This. It wasn't nasty, just a comment.
As for Nadia, how easily manipulated she is by Perez
The pair of them are an embarrassment. As for her being more amazing than Oprah? Biggest laugh of the series right there.
But not that shes controlling in the kitchen.
Perez telling lies again im afraid.
Yes Calum, you did say her food was "too heavy" and you were going to cook something healthy..
Nothing wrong in saying that, but at least own up to it.
Errr, but wheres the "C" word in that line?
He never said Nadia was controlling.
Didn't he say it in the diary room?
Don't know, but would Perez have even seen that?
Perez claimed that Calum said that word in the conversation with Michelle....which he clearly didn't.
How do you know he didn't? No one has seen 24/7 live footage to know, except Perez.
He was talking about the food in the house. Perez took that comment and made it sound like something it wasnt
Because they played the conversation back on tonights show.
Not only did he not say Nadia was controlling, he did not even mention her.
He did and basically told her to get a grip in the end
Or maybe they are just psychic...

No, I didn't hear him say that. Then again, I didn't say he did;-)
Yes, but his initial reaction in the kitchen was to totally deny he said anything.
He did indeed explain a lot better in the bedroom just what he meant.
