Polina apologises for her English a lot but she'd not at all bad. She seems lovely - I'm thrilled for her and glad the crowd behaved.

The Albania dispora???? They had failed to qualify 3 of the last 4

She probably simply benefited from having a few friendly nations in there....she definitely would have picked up decent points from the likes of Serbia, FYROM and Greece.

I'm glad Polina hasn't got Svetlana in toe, she doesn't need to be shy about her English, it's really good.

Daniel being a gent about not qualifying.

I loved his backdrop tonight, that was stunning, I just didn't like his notes-drop ...

Such a shame, you know how Fyromesque I get at this time of year!

I was just thinking that - I wonder what has made her unconfident in her english-speaking skills? She speaks it quite well I think.

    Poor Polina. Dreadful question!

"Why did you sing a LGBT song to change the views in your country?" essentially.

Ehm, the general Finnish reaction seems to be "Europe just wasn't ready"...
Not that I'd want to read (now) what the most eager PKN upportes would say, I'm not that masochistic! ;)

And can I just brag here that I got 9/10 qualifiers right? :D

Most of my musical friends were all cheering on PKN for bringing the punk. No mention of disability just enjoying something other than a ballad. (but yes, we missed Opera Skaala massively)

    Russia 2nd half.

Surely the new favourites after tonight's performance and the draw.
