EE - Peter Beale like or loathe?

Peter has been on our screens for over a month now, initially opinions seem to be mixed now a month on, what are FM thoughts on him, has he settle in well or do you still dislike him?

I like him, I seemed to like him as soon as he appeared and now see him as Peter Beale, I like that he is the complete opposite of his bitch of a sister and cares about Family!

I'm not warming to Hetti as Lucy at all and will always see Melissa Suffield as Lucy Beale as she was the better actress and made Lucy, Lucy!

I like him. It didn't take me very long at all to get used to seeing him as Peter. I like that there hasn't really been any drastic change in his character and there are still elements of the old Peter there.

Really enjoying the Beale focus at the moment. Just wish we would see more of Ian/Denise.

I don't feel like he's made an immediate impression, unlike Lucy or Ben when they were recast. He seems kind of bland and lacking the upbeat aspect of old Peter's personality.

I find him extremely bland, prefer the previous Peter played by Thomas Law.

I prefer the new Lucy to the old one though.

I think he's great he's miles better than the old Peter who lets face it had the personality and charisma of an empty fridge! But the new boy has put a bit of steel into Peter and made him very interesting without going OTT like they've done with Joey and Tyler in their first few months! He works great with Ian and looks like he'll handle himself good in a big storyline, so well done EE on one of the extremely very few good casting in recent years!
