This is my first and it is an honour to be hosting it on what promises to be a memorable, iconic year! 2014 has seen the show return to form with a plethora of storylines, new characters, returns, not to mention plot twists and surprises at every corner. Christmas Day 2014:

Secrets Cause Devastation at the Vic as the Carters Implode

Christmas Day gets off to a great start for the Carters, with Mick getting a special present from Linda and Stan transforming the barrel store into a winter wonderland for Cora. But the festive season rarely goes without a hiccup or two in Albert Square, and so it is this year when Mick pops out to fetch a surprise dinner guest - none other than Sylvie - and Aunt Babe and Shirley are horrified. As if that weren't bad enough, Dean turns up, drunk and threatening to drop a bombshell. Could the day get any worse?

Cindy spots a suspicious present for Beth under the Beales' tree, and is alarmed by what she finds inside.

Charlie and Ronnie finally have the tickets and money ready to get rid of Nick.
