Many years ago, maybe the early 80's, I saw this film where a man was trapped inside a telephone box. It began with lots of humour as he tried to escape and ended with him being towed to a warehouse full of other telephone boxes with trapped victims in various stages of decay. Very macabre. I've never seen it since. Did I dream it?

I missed that link, thank you for pointing it out. I've just watched it and it is even better than I remembered. I must have been about 8 years old when I last saw this film on tv and it is still chilling. It left a lasting impression on me.
Superb. It's a shame these sort of short films hardly ever get shown on TV. Film 4 used to be about the only place that would show this sort of thing (never seen that one though).
