I agree. I think they are pacing this perfectly to keep us watching for the next two months. One thing Emmerdale has over the other two is that it doesn't drop a storyline until its done
Yeah a brain injury would be plausible as well. Iirc the frontal lobe (im sure I heard them say this as he was wheeled in) is the area of the brain that deals with emotions. Perhaps he could have a personality change, maybe more in liking with Aaron's character?
