It's not snowing here but my boyfriend is up in Stoke and he said it started snowing quite heavily about 10 minutes ago.

It's been on and off all day, looks lovely with the mountains all white but otherwise it's just slushy and bloody Baltic!

Snow ploughs are out and about. Doesn't look too bad.

It was snowing earlier this evening but I haven't peeked behind the curtains to see if it stopped or not. It didn't seem to be lying when I drove home from work but it was still not much fun to drive through...it was fairly heavy.

One of the roads here was blocked with snow this morning but not very much in the village.

Just light snow here at the moment.

I doubt we will see any snow in my area this year. It's been ridiculously mild - temps in double digits all "winter" apart from the odd day here and there.

It says zero risk of snow all week where I live, so someone is lying.

It indeed has. Northumberland County Council, still haven't got the concept of snow at all. During the prolonged 2010 winter our ambulance service was a Sea King from RAF Boulmer which also carried in deliveries for shops etc

2009 and 2010 were bad here. I live up a single track road that has no priority for the plough or gritting.

It's over a mile walk to the shops but we had no choice>:(

Yes its difficult. Our local roads were all downgraded in priority to 'we'll get to it if we can' basically. As tight as funding is they can only concentrate on major roads and small towns and villages don't qualify :(

The clouds are full of it, it's trying to snow but I think it's too cold for the white stuff.
