Hi,
I'm trying to find out my rights.
I ordered an item from Amazon the item was dispatched and my credit card charged.
When I received the item the product was actually a different model to what was listed. The model sent was an inferior product and I would not have ordered that model knowingly.
I suspect they will want me to return the item and they will refund me (although I don't know where I stand with postage, since I'd actually be out of pocket if I had to pay p&p).
This of course still leaves me without the item I purchased in good faith.

If it was their error, they will refund your p&p also. What more are you after? Not compensation surely?
I'll do one of the two, but you'll have to guess which!
If its my mortgage, you're gonna have a friend for life
What about an offer to pay off your brighthouse tv?
Ohh, so close, but wrong!
Your shoulders will forever regret the day you made that choice
That will only get you a cup of tea and a biscuit.
Shoulders? I was thinking feet!!
Thank you.
Unfortunately, that's when Amazon is the supplier - if it's one of their "partners", it can be an entirely different matter.

As the goods you received were 'not as described', this is a breach of The Sale of Goods Act 1979, and this page tells you your rights and what to do: http://www.adviceguide.org.uk/england/consumer_e/consumer_common_problems_with_products_e/consumer_goods_are_not_as_described_e/goods_dont_match_description.htm
