I think the production can only afford one out of Blackpool and Wembley each year, and Blackpool gets far more popular reception, and has far more relevance to ballroom dancing... so it's an easy decision!

It's the return of POINTLESS STATISTICS
- Scott has now regained the position of 'worst dancer this series by averages', and is now within the all-time bottom 10 dancers by average. Of all four of the dances he's done, he has posted the worst score of the series for that dance with all of them, and has the worst male celebrity American Smooth to his name ever, with only Ann Widdecombe scoring lower overall, by one point. (The previous record-holder was Dave Myers with 17 points.)
- Of the four series he's done, Pasha has danced the Quickstep in week 4 in three of them, with the exception being series 10 when he did it in week 3
- Judy has gone from being Anton's third worst partner on averages to a mere fifth worst
- Of the pros who've only done one series to date, Joanne is now second only to Hazel Newberry for worst partner by averages
- This is the first time all series that Len and Bruno have scored below 5. The previous occasion Len marked below 5 was for Tony Jacklin's Charleston.
I had the wonderful experience of attending the Strictly Live Show last weekend and totally gobsmacked to be in the VIP section courtesy of my lovely cousin Judy Murray! I know she's not the best, and she knows she's not the best either, but she's enjoying every minute of it.
The whole filming process took around 5 hours and believe me, after sitting on those chairs, I was desperate to get out. After the show, I got to go to the VIP marquee and SAW all the celebs and a lot of the dancers.
I know I will never get to experience this again and I will never forget it.

I would like to see blackpool host the final every year
If you're going to splash out on moving the production every year, this would be the obvious choice! Season 2 was the best final IMO, season 9 sort of ruined by the choreography on the night but for atmosphere it was electric!
